Thanks to the quick action of the trash truck driver for Rumpke Consolidated Companies Inc., a Piqua, Ohio, area couple escaped injury after their mobile home recently caught fire. Trailers typically burn down in a matter of minutes, so Meade's quick action getting the family out of the home avoided the potential for serious injury.
Meade typically starts work at 9 p.m. and finishes up by 7 a.m. His route includes both residential and commercial stops.
