Gore plans to rock global climate change
Former Vice President Al Gore, along with a host of celebrities, has launched an effort to raise climate change awareness that will include music concerts on all seven continents.
Save Our Selves - The Campaign for a Climate in Crisis will seek to engage billions of people through television, film, radio, the Internet and Live Earth, a 24-hour concert that will be held July 7 on all seven continents. The concert will include Snoop Dogg, Duran Duran, Sheryl Crow, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Black Eyed Peas.
Live Earth will work with the U.S. Green Building Council to create a standard that may become the model for carbon neutral concerts and live events. More...
