Energy Sierra Club offers climate roadmap One of the nation's pre-eminent climate scientists and two nongovernmental organizations unveiled a plan in Washington Jan. 31 to drastically reduce greenhouse gas emissions using only energy efficiency and renewable energy. The Sierra Club and the American Solar Energy Society joined with NASA climatologist James Hansen to outline how the nation could reduce global warming emissions by 60 to 80 percent by 2050.
