UW-Platteville Team Best In Safety.(University of Wisconsin - Platteville)(Brief article)

Staff The team from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville finished first in the safety category at the recent Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) seventh annual Student Construction Management Competition in Nashville, Tenn. Teams of four students representing 24 colleges and universities from across the nation competed in the contest's first round, with five finalist teams advancing to a second round for the overall title.
Teams competed in three areas: project management/scheduling, estimating and safety. Awards were given in each area, as well as an overall award for highest total points. The overall winner was the University of Cincinnati, with the University of Florida finishing second, and Brigham Young University third. ...
