Motorola has bought Orthogon Systems. This deal will help provide high-speed point-to-point services utilizing the Orthogonal Frequency Division Modulation (OFDM). This includes bands resulting in resistance, and works in a way that makes it immune to obstacles between the transmitter and the recipient. This can be used to provide Internet to villages, as infrastructure could be very expensive. The town of Buckfastleigh has already been provided the services by this facility.

The company intends to plan Internet access under the brand "Motowi4," which includes WiMAX, Canopy Products, and Mesh Solutions. The president with Motorola's Networks and Enterprise Business, Greg Brown, said that he was keen to place this technology in the appropriate areas. Motorola...
