BelAir combines Mesh and WiMAX into one product.(NEW PRODUCTS)

BelAir Networks is combining two WiMAX and mesh with view to improve the quality of municipal wireless networks. The company plans to introduce the WiMAX radio module for usage in wireless mesh markets. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) approved the module, running on the WCS (Wireless Communications Service) 2.3GHz licensed spectrum in the US. The CTO of BelAir, Steve Rayment, said that module could be used on two applications.

In wireless mesh networks, the network strongly routes packets from node to node and a few of them are to be connected to the wired network.
