Adaptix joins OBSAI.(BUSINESS)

Adaptix, a developer of orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) technology, has joined the Open Base Station Architecture Initiative (OBSAI), an organization formed to create open specifications for base station architectures. Adaptix is a premier supplier of OFDMA-based micro-cell base stations that deliver 802.16e-compliant Mobile WiMAX services.

"OBSAI welcomes the addition of Adaptix to its growing membership," said Tero Mustala, chairman of OBSAI.
