Arab Telecom awards WiMAX infrastructure deal to Aperto Networks.(CONTRACTS)

Wi-Max, February, 2007

Kuwait-based telco Arab Telecom has granted a WiMAX infrastructure deal to California's Aperto Networks. Arab Telecom will deploy a countrywide 3.5GHz wireless broadband network via the Packet Wave equipment from Aperto. This equipment will be used to provide high-speed Internet access to the 22 million population of Kuwait.
