Hittite Microwave Corporation introduces a high IP3 mixer with integrated LO amplifier, and two high linearity gain blocks which are suitable for CATV, Cellular/3G, Broadband, WiMAX and Fixed Wireless applications from DC to 4 GHz. The HMC615LP4(E) is a high IP3 mixer with integrated LO amplifier, which is rated from 2.3 to 4.0 GHz, and exhibits 35 dBm input IP3 with only 4 dBm LO drive. The passive mixer topology is suited for both upconversion and downconversion applications, and supports IF bandwidths of up to 1 GHz. The HMC615LP4(E) requires no external baluns or matching components and is housed in a RollS compliant 4 x 4 mm QFN E SMT package.
