THE ALUMINIUM SMELTING company Mozambique Aluminium (MOZAL) leads the top 100 companies in Mozambique for the second consecutive year, according to a KPMG survey. The ranking refers to the 2003 financial year. MOZAL, led by Britain's Billiton, produces over 500,000 tonnes of aluminium a year for export and employs 1,100 workers.
