Q: GIVEN YOUR TWO years' in top-level management in the insurance industry, what is your personal view about Ghana's National Health Insurance Scheme -- the NHIS?

A: Ghana National Health Insurance is a scheme whereby all subscribers and their dependants receive medical care at government or recognised private hospitals or health centres free of charge when they fall sick or contract specific diseases.

Under this system the medical bills of the individual subscribers are borne by all subscribers. In my opinion, there can be no better system where the concerns of a man concern ...
