THE BRASS LNG group is preparing to award contracts towards the construction of its two-train, 10.0mn tonnes/year liquefied natural gas complex at Brass. Eni, the lead company in Brass LNG and the operator of the adjacent Brass oil terminal, said it will award a contract in 2007 for 140km of pipe lines, sizes extending from 16 inches to 36 inches, for the plant's gas-gathering system.
