Visual Networks packages frame relay management.

Newcomer Visual Networks (Rockville, MD) has combined two previously disparate wide area frame relay network management functions - traffic flow access and analysis - which it believes gives it a unique edge in a potentially hot market niche. The company, which was founded in 1993 and currently has 28 full-time employees, is now ramping up marketing efforts on its Visual UpTime product line, which has been in beta installations since May.
Visual UpTime is a software-intensive, turn-key solution, and it is currently being evaluated by about 30 corporate users and carriers, including MCI, PacNet, Merrill Lynch, Time Warner and Citicorp.
