A new breed of outsourcer is offering more comprehensive, networked-based sourcing. Network applications services are hitting the market in a big way, in offerings ranging from outsourced provision and support of PeopleSoft and SAP to customized knowledge management, collaborative groupware and electronic commerce services of many flavors (see "Net Taxonomy").
Network-based applications offer small, medium and department-level business users rapid access to advanced software and big-business system administration on a predictable cost basis.
