ASP Users Cite Reliability As Key.(Industry Trend or Event)

Enterprises consider application uptime, security and reliability to be the key elements of an application service provider (ASP) service level agreement (SLA), according to Sage Research. Sage surveyed 150 businesses last December, and asked what impact the availability of given SLA metrics would have on the choice of an ASP.
As seen in the Figure, the top answers related to availability and reliability; these responses ran well ahead of network performance issues such as throughput, network congestion, guaranteed bandwidth allocations and latency.
