Check point adds "application intelligence". (New Products).

It's generally accepted that a perimeter firewall represents the minimum standard in enterprise network security. Firewalls have been adding functionality, such as VPN gateway capabilities, and solving new problems, such as Network Address Translation (NAT) traversal. But to keep their product from becoming a commodity, firewall vendors have to keep adding functionality to their wares.
