Online retail sales seen gaining.(Ecommerce)(according to Forrester Research)(Brief Article)

Online retail sales will grow at almost 20 percent a year, with total sales more than doubling over the next five years, according to Forrester Research. By 2008, ecommerce will account for 10 percent of total U.S. retail sales, researchers predict. Forrester expects nearly 5 million U.S.
households to join the online retail world each year, bringing the total customer base to 63 million online households in 2008. Forrester attributes the expected gains to this growing base of online consumers, as well as more new product categories offered over the Web, and efforts by online retailers to enhance the ecommerce experience.
