Even before graduating Columbia Law School in 1996, Meltzer took on the alter ego of author, gaining academic credit for writing what eventually would become his first book, the best-selling novel "The Tenth Justice." Since that time, Meltzer also has taken on the roles of actor (appearing as himself in Woody Allen's 1998 film, "Celebrity"), television producer (he wrote the treatment for the upcoming WB series "Jack & Bobby") and husband.
