Stockes, Brian Indian Country Today (Lakota Times) 05-09-2001 Two tribal members on IRS advisory committee By Brian Stockes TODAY STAFF WASHINGTON BUREAU WASHINGTON - Two tribal members have been appointed to a newly formed Internal Revenue Service Tax Exempted and Government Entities Advisory Committee by the Secretary of the Treasury. Jayne Fawcett, ambassador of the Mohegan Tribe and vice president of the United South and Eastern Tribes, and David Mullon Jr., associate general counsel with the Cherokee Nation, will be among those who advise the Commissioner of Tax Exempt and Government Entities regarding the IRS's dealings with tax exempt organizations and state, local and tribal governments.
