McGoldrick, Debbie Irish Voice 09-18-2001 Attack Wreaks Havoc on Aer Lingus TUESDAY'S terrorist attack on the U.S. has wreaked utter havoc on the world's air travel network, and Ireland's national airline Aer Lingus has implemented a round the clock effort to both accommodate stranded passengers and fully comply with new security standards established by the FAA. As the Irish Voice went to press on Thursday evening, Aer Lingus confirmed cancellation of all its trans-Atlantic flights on Friday, with a limited resumption possible for Saturday.
