Irish Voice 03-25-2003 IT was the end of an era when the Fordham University contingent came marching past with retiring president Rev. Joseph O' Hare at their head. O'Hare has been a magnificent president of the school and a leading figure in the political life of New York through his chairmanship of the city's electoral commission.
He has also been a leading advocate on Irish American issues and a long and valued board member of the American Irish Historical Society. It can only be hoped that he will continue to play a role in all those activities despite his retirement. Adams the Antichrist? There have been a ton of books written on the Northern Ireland Troubles, probably none as unusual and frankly bizarre as Love Is the Answer -- the SDLP, Christianity...
