Gershwin A. Drain Michigan Chronicle 04-05-1994 Michigan Tech names information director. James Cross Michigan Technological University has named James S. Cross of Farmville, Va., as its new director of Information Technology. Cross's appointment will become effective April 16, according to MTU Executive Vice President and Provost Fred Dobney. Cross will also hold the title of associate professor of management information systems in the university's School of Business and Engineering Administration.
