Washington named Wayne State Board of Governors chair

Michigan Chronicle 02-08-2005 Jacquelin Washington was recently named chair of the Wayne State University Board of Governors as an elected officer. Washington joined Eugene Driker as unanimous by their colleagues to one-year terms as chair and vice chair respectively. She was elected to an eight-year term in 2001 and Driker was appointed to a four-year term by former Gov.

Washington, retired president and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Southeast Michigan, has distinguished herself as a community advocate serving on the boards of several non-profit organizations.
