Physician elected to ACEP Board of Directors

Michigan Chronicle 12-13-2005 Kathleen M. Cowling, DO, FACEP, of Saginaw was elected to the board of directors of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) during the organization's annual meeting. The board is the organization's policymaking body, responsible for ACEP's management and control, consisting of 12 elected directors, plus the president and immediate past-president.

Board members are elected at the annual ACEP council meeting and can serve up to two three-year terms. Cowling is an attending physician for Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw and serves as core faculty for the Emergency Medicine Residency Program of the Synergy Medical Education Alliance and assistant clinical professor for College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University,...
