Brooks, T. Michigan Chronicle 02-21-2006 The Arts League of Michigan and Mosaic Youth Theatre, in partnership with the National Football League (NFL), will present the NFL's Tribute to Black History Celebration, Rock My Soul: The Black Legacy of Rock and Roll, as one of the premier events in Detroit during Super Bowl XL week.
The program will be an evening of high-energy entertainment that chronicles nine influential periods in the development and evolution of African American music and laid the foundation for rock and roll.
