He's known in Israel as Tuvia Chaim Ariel.

The 56-year-old South Bronx native, born Terry Noble, is a veritable one-man crusade to bring state-of-the-art prosthetics to the Holy Land. Dubbed "One-legged Terry" by his counterculture pal Wavy Gravy, in another life Ariel traveled with Gravy's legendary Hog Farm commune in the late 1960s. He introduced Bob Dylan to Abbie Hoffman...
