The Jewish Week 06-13-1997 Rewriting `Herstory': Hadassah creates first-ever Jewish women's research institute, at Brandeis. Until today, research about Jewish women might fill the pages of one small book. Now, that is about to change. In a move likely to shake up Jewish academe, the first International Research Institute on Jewish Women has been established at Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass.

The Jewish Week has learned.
