Long Beach, Calif.-- A thermal soil treatment project supported by Earth Tech Inc., a business unit of Tyco International Ltd, and a global provider of consulting, engineering and construction services has been recognized with a 2004 U.S. Chief of Naval Operations award for its role in restoring the environment in Hawaii. Earth Tech was part of a team with the U.S. Navy, federal and state regulators, and another remedial action contractor that completed the thermal soil treatment project.
