Millennium Digital buys Antec gear

DULUTH, Ga.-Millennium Digital Media will incorporate Antec's new 1550 nm ITU Return Laser Transmitter into its 870 MHz Maryland upgrade project. The node-based product allows operators to combine and deploy up to 20 ITU wavelengths on a single fiber for reverse transmission back to the hub or headend.

Millennium provides broadband telecommunications services on a national basis. The company is rolling out new markets and currently provides services to more than 250,000 customers in Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio, Oregon, Virginia, Washington and the District of Columbia.
