Home networking technologies and interactive-television applications were the hot ticket at the annual Western Show

Roughly 32,000 people hopped aboard the "Broadband Wagon" last month in Los Angdes, drawn to the annual Western Show. While there, they were treated to the latest in technology and new applications. With well-known programming companies Showtime, Playboy and Starz/Encore opting to skip this year's show, the confab is taking on a decidedly tech flavor.
