Clear, a global supplier of optical, broadband and digital network management software, is partnering with Redback Networks to jointly offer customers enhanced end-to-end fault, performance and service level management capabilities in multi-technology, multi-vendor network environments. The agreement gives service providers with Redback technology a way to manage service level agreements, reduce network downtime, increase operations efficiencies and decrease maintenance costs.

Under the agreement, the companies will jointly offer the integrated solution that consists of the Redback SmartEdge multiservice optical platform, the Redback SMS platform, a subscriber management system and the Clearview product suite.
