This PDA-based calibrator combines five different functions in a single hand-held device: It can source and measure milliamp circuits, voltage, thermocouple, RTD, and pressure signals. A built in power supply is for standalone calibration of two wire transmitters.

The PDA unit is the user interface, as screen touch points replace the knobs and buttons used on traditional calibrators. It contains source and read functions with range and accuracy comparable to traditional handheld calibrators. Field engineers can build a database on site because raw data, statistics, notes, and references can be stored in the PDA and downloaded to a PC.
