A bevy of blonde babes have written (with a little help from ghostwriters, of course) memoirs and thinly veiled novels about life in the limelight. We're as curious as the next gal about Paris Hilton's new release, so we tuned in to check these hot books for Sapphic subtext. Here's a quick report.

Author: Pamela Anderson (with Eric Shaw Quinn), a former waitress who was discovered by a men's magazine.

Book: Star: A Novel (Atria), about a tanning-bed attendant who gets discovered by a men's magazine and finds fame.

Girl-on-girl action: "Maybe it was just an accident, Star thought, as Brandi's hands worked down her thigh."

Of interest to: Anyone who likes to read about the exploits of mostly straight, D-cup A-listers.
