The National Basketball Assn., the most showbiz savvy of the professional leagues, has linked up with Columbia Pictures to turn tonight's NBA TV cablecast of the Lakers-Suns game into a celebrity-filled gabfest. Under the umbrella title "Hollywood & Hoops," the NBA production team will put microphones on celebs such as Ice Cube (star of Columbia's "XXX: State of the Union," which will be the presenting sponsor of the game), Penny Marshall, Donald Faison of "Scrubs," James Denton of "Desperate Housewives" and Kareem Abdul Jabbar.
