"On Golden Pond" kicks off a 30-week national tour Sept. 5 in Fort Worth, Texas. Hayley Mills, known as a child actor for pics such as "Pollyana" and "The Parent Trap," plays a grandmother, opposite Richard Chamberlain as play's central curmudgeon. Produced by Jeffrey Finn, the Leonard Fogliahelmed production ran on Broadway in the spring with James Earl Jones and Leslie Uggams in the lead roles.
