Tool's 'Days' rules week.(weekly sales of rock albums)

Tool had the biggest sales week for a rock act in 11 months, selling 564,000 copies of "10,000 Days" in the week ended Sunday, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Coldplay's "X&Y" sold 737,000 when it debuted during the sales week of June 5-12. No other rock album has topped 600,000 in a week since.
For the Volcano/Zomba Label Group rockers, sales week was their career best, topping by 11,000 the number "Lateralus" sold in 2001. That disc also opened at No. 1.
