Toon praiser Gary Miereanu has been named head of publicity for Warner Bros. Animation. Miereanu will oversee publicity campaigns for the studio's new animation productions and vast archive of Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera toon fare. He will also oversee publicity for the Kids' WB! Saturday morning block that airs on CW He'll work closely with various Warner divisions that license WBA product, including Warner Home Video unit's growing line of direct-to-video animated releases.
