The facility is located at 3956 State Route 412 in Vickery. The waste is injected into the Mount Simon sandstone which is about 2,800 below ground. The upper limit of waste movement appears to be at about 2,500 feet below ground, and below rock units that serve as a barrier to further upward waste movement. The lowermost source of drinking water is about 500 feet underground...
