(NYSE: ALD) announced today that Iberia Airlines has placed an order for 50 firm and 26 optional AlliedSignal 131-9[A] auxiliary power units (APU) for its fleet of Airbus A319, A320 and A321 aircraft.

The agreement, including an optional retrofit of an additional 22 aircraft with the new APU, is valued at $50 million over the life of the agreement.
