M2 PRESSWIRE-23 November 1998-INVERSE NETWORK TECHNOLOGY: Independent ISP ratings launched in UK (C)1994-98 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD RDATE:201198 -- Grades help indicate Internet performance and reliability In a new ratings study released by Inverse Network Technology Inc., only seven out of 12 UK Internet service providers tested had good enough connection rates to the Internet to earn an 'A " or "A" grade during the month of October 1998.
The ratings are a new feature of Inverse's UK BenchMark, a monthly report that measures the performance of the 12 leading UK ISPs. ISPs are rated on connection success to the Internet as well as the reliability and speed of Web downloads using eight separate metrics.
