PAUL -- Northwest Airlines and Malaysia Airlines have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) designed to lead to an operational and marketing alliance between the two airlines.
The agreement will provide enhanced benefits for travel between the United States and Malaysia. The partnership will strengthen both airlines' services in the U.S.-Malaysia market. Northwest will inaugurate service to Kuala Lumpur on February 25, operating DC10 flights three times weekly from Detroit via a stop at Osaka, Japan.
