M2 PRESSWIRE-9 March 1999-ERA: Boeing joins ERA (C)1994-99 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD RDATE:080399 Aircraft manufacturer Boeing has signed up to membership of the European Regions Airline Association (ERA), underlining the changes occurring in regional operations as more carriers move to larger aircraft to increase capacity.

Boeing aircraft have become a larger part of the ERA fleet during recent years, explains ERA Director General, Mike Ambrose. "Six or seven years ago there were 10 737s in the ERA fleet - today there are 66."
