M2 PRESSWIRE-4 March 1999-NEC: NEC and NTT Docomo to work together in groundbreaking W-CDMA trials (C)1994-99 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD RDATE:030399 NEC Corporation (FTSE:6701q.1) and NTT Mobile Communications Network, Inc (NTT DoCoMo) have agreed to work together in the technical trials of a next generation mobile communication "W-CDMA" system for the Telephone Organization of Thailand (TOT).

A Memorandum Of Understanding has been signed by both parties and according to the agreement, the trial will begin in late 1999.
