Michelle Mallette, of Lake Errock, east of Mission, was nominated by the history department at University College of the Fraser Valley.
SFU degrees are awarded at UCFV during the college's transition to degree granting status. Mallette decided to return to school in 1993 after working as a journalist in the Fraser Valley. ...
