M2 PRESSWIRE-10 August 1999-FERRARI: Salo stars at Zandvoort (C)1994-99 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD RDATE:080899 Zandvoort -- Mika Salo took part in the second and final day of the Formula 3 Marlboro Masters meeting at the Zandvoort track in Holland. The Finnish driver went out at the wheel of a F399 (chassis 193) in front of an enthusiastic crowd of around one hundred thousand spectators.
They were delighted to see the return of Formula 1 to the Dutch track, despite the poor weather conditions. Having done one lap in the morning, Salo did a run of eight laps after making a race start off the grid.
