5-April 1, 2000. Northwest Airlink will operate one nonstop flight every Saturday between Memphis and Aspen with its new regional jets, the Avro RJ85 jet aircraft. The 69-seat ARJs became part of Northwest's fleet in June, 1997. The aircraft feature a 16-seat first class cabin and 53 seats in the main cabin, making them the most spacious regional jet in the industry.
