In joining CAP, IAB's members agree to observe the British Codes of Advertising and Sales Promotion and help enforce rulings made by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) about on-line advertisements. CAP members work to maintain the highest standards of advertising by agreeing not to place or publish those that break the Codes.
