M2 PRESSWIRE-2 November 1999-US DOT: DOT releases Y2K information on U.S. airports (C)1994-99 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD RDATE:021199 The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) said today that none of the nation's 565 airports regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has been found to have Y2K problems that will affect the airport's ability to meet regulatory safety requirements during the Year 2000 rollover.

The DOT posted the information on its website (http://www.fly2k.dot.gov) along with information indicating that all airports covered under FAA security regulations are ready for the transition to the Year 2000.
