to 1 p.m. Monday, July 3, at the K-State Student Union Bookstore. Winter has the longest tenure -- 53 years -- of any active coach in the Division I collegiate or professional level. He currently serves on the coaching staff of the NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers. Winter was K-State's first full-time assistant basketball coach, serving under Wildcat coach Jack Gardner from 1947 to 1951....
