M2 PRESSWIRE-6 June 2000-OASIS INTERNATIONAL LEASING: Oasis buys Boeing 777 for lease portfolio (C)1994-2000 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD RDATE:06062000 Oasis International Leasing has completed the purchase of a Boeing 777-200 ER aircraft with Rolls Royce Trent engines from Singapore Aircraft Leasing Enterprise (SALE).

The aircraft is on lease to Malaysia Airlines (MAS) for 10 years. The aircraft was originally delivered new to MAS in 1998 and was the subject of a 12 year sale and leaseback with SALE Oasis financed the acquisition with a combination of debt and equity. The debt financing was arranged by New Boston Partners and National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) with funds provided by Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi, NBAD, Gulf International Bank, Abu Dhabi...
